Behind the guide
About Dirtbound.app
An independent place to start a run and find a useful answer.
What this site does
Dirtbound.app brings together a launcher for the original DirtBound browser game, a controls reference, beginner guidance and help with common browser problems. The aim is to make the first few minutes easier: find the game, know the keys and get onto the road.
We run this guide independently. We do not publish DirtBound, operate its multiplayer servers or manage player accounts. The game opens on dirtbound.fr in its own browser window.
The people behind DirtBound
DirtBound is created by Luke Baffait and Victor Boutros. The original game's credits describe their work on its design, 3D, code, servers and infrastructure. Please use the original game's support and feedback options for issues with gameplay or accounts.
You can support the creators on Ko-fi.
How guides are written
Controls and mode names are based on the original game menu and its published default settings. Practice advice is editorial guidance. We do not assign invented vehicle statistics, publish made-up player counts or promise a particular lap-time improvement.
The game changes over time. Your saved keys can differ from the default controls listed here. If something in a guide no longer matches the current game, please send the page address and the detail that needs correcting.
Artwork and references
The winter rally image comes from the original game's public share artwork. The garage image comes from the developers' Three.js showcase. Both show the original game; rights remain with the relevant creators. Interface icons use the MIT-licensed Tabler Icons project.
